There is something wrong with Wiki virtual machine, so for now
wiki is down. I am investigating.

The wiki is still down. Any chance that it will come back soon?

Waldek,

there seems to be some snapshots of the wiki at archive.org

https://web.archive.org/web/20220701004801/http://fricas-wiki.math.uni.wroc.pl/ExampleFreeAbelianGroup

Maybe it would be an option to let the VM rest and slowly copy
interesting content either into a form that fits a reStructuredText
format and then lives into a repo for fricas.github.io or like the
example notebooks at https://fricas.github.io/fricas-notebooks/index.html

That shouldn´t be too difficult.

FYI, Wiki machine run with no trouble on my developement machine. So
it should be possible to recover what is there. The trouble is that
that ATM wiki does not run in its normal configuration, on server
machine.

OK, that is nice to hear.

Still, I think in the long run it might make more sense to enable
another way to run FriCAS online. I do not yet know exactly how, but
with the Jupyter interface it should be possible to offer something via
web interface.

And putting interesting content into a git repo and present it on some
subpages of fricas.github.io wouldn´t be the worst idea. I do not think
that the Wiki idea works nicely for FriCAS (at least not at the moment).

One way to run fricas online is https://sagecell.sagemath.org, you can run your computations with fricas("foo").  Possibly the SageCell people would be grateful for support.  I don't know how hard it would be to have a %%fricas marker that allows you to enter fricas code in full generality.
