Line endings and appIcon.icns

I have several times got message:

warning: CRLF will be replaced by LF in contrib/macos/appIcon.icns

AFAICS appIcon.icns is binary file, so should be an exception to
line ending rules.

Never met this problem.

What's your git version?

Maybe this can help, you can test locally:

Yes, seem to help. BTW, I get this for example when
I do:

copy repository to different place (via 'cp -r')
pull something from remote repository
do 'git diff'
