To whom it may concern (most notably Bill Page, which has written a part of this interface, seems to have been interested recently in FriCAS, but is not reachable through https://trac.sagemath.org/(https://trac.sagemath.org/) :
A problem with this interface is described in Sagemath’s ticket Trac#31849. Ideas for fixing it are much welcome…

The fix has nothing to d with FriCAS and is provided in the mentioned ticket.
