Why sometimes the user command is (re-)printed just before the result is displayed

Hello,

Sometimes after different computations, suddenly, whatever commands
you enter in the interpreter the command is re-displayed before the
result, just below what you typed, like this:

(3) -> b:=[1/jfint(i) for i in 1..500];
b:=[1/jfint(i) for i in 1..500];

<result>

Do you know why? And is there a way to avoid this? It's a little annoying to me.

Can you give a full account on when this happens so that it would be
reproducible on my side?

I can only guess that it must be one of the commands that you enter in
your session.

I hoped someone encountered this also because it has happened in
different settings, laptops also. It's sudden. I don't understand why.
I agree this is not very informative. If I could find one I will
report, but it always happen in a strange manner.

In fact from what I have seen, this happens after several computations, compilations etc. A relatively long session.

Are you using sman/clef or rlwrap for line editing?

In which terminal emulator are you using FriCAS?

I guess your issue is related with this.

Hello,

Hmmm you are probably right, so. I use the Open Source Windows
Terminal where I can switch from Windows to Linux easily. It is just a
matter of onglets. Otherwise, I use directly FRICASsys with rlwrap. In
fact I need to add an alias to my shell, say fcas, to start fricas
with HyperDoc off but )hd startable and support of rlwrap. HyperDoc is
handy sometimes.

I thought I was not alone with this issue, it is relatively annoying
;) When your command begins to be repeated, that does not stop (a
parrot).

Thanks,

- Greg
