)edit system command

Hello,

A quick note, I am filling an issue, when using ')edit' without
FRICASEDITOR set 'more' in an xterm is launched but closes immediately
apparently:

(1) -> )edit license

Warning: environment variable FRICASEDITOR not set.
Launching 'more' in an 'xterm'.
Press space to continue, 'q' to quit.
(1) ->

But my question is which editors are compatible with the ')edit'
system command? gedit if memory does not deserve me is compatible but
installing it installs a bunch of other things that I do not need, so
I will not install it.
