Subject: 2015 FD Alumni Association Basketball Tournament: June 5-27
Brothers:
On behalf of the Class of 2005, let this email serve as your official invitation to the 2015 FDAA Alumni Basketball tournament. Please email the respective contacts below with your class' intent to participate in this summer's tournament. Entrance fee is $500 and due no later than Saturday, May 23, 2015.
Please also note that the MANDATORY meeting prior to the start of the tourney will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00pm at the Phoenix Center classroom. At least one (1) representative from each class/team MUST be present during this meeting. Should your class/team NOT be at the meeting, your class/team will be rewarded with the most ridiculous schedule. For example, should 2004 decide not to show up, it would only be fair to have them play all 4 round robin games, one after the other on a Sunday starting at 8am. Their opponents can be 2015, 2014, 2013 and then either 79 or 85 as their 4th game...with no ref.
There are several important matters that we must go over at the meeting. It shouldn’t take more than 30 mins.

Now, the part where you have to follow instructions: please have one (1) representative from your class/team email Duane, Vince, and Matt, with a "cc" to Eddie Pelkey with your class' intent to participate. If you have any schedule requests, i.e. want to play 2006, no games before 7pm, no games on Tuesdays, etc., please email that to Eddie at your earliest convenience. Requests will be accommodated appropriately, meaning the longer it has been since you graduated, the more likely your request will be honored.
Other than that, we are roughly 6 weeks away from opening night. Looking forward to seeing everyone again at that time, if not sooner. Fortes in Fide! Biba FD!

Eddie.REMINDER: a rep from each class needs to be there. Combined classes already approved need only have one person to represent all.Brothers:So far, I have heard from the following classes: 88, 96/97, 99, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2014. I'd like to have a tentative schedule out at the meeting on May 12th, so classes can start looking at which nights they'd like to host, etc.
