i am sorry to hear this.
not only was carl super-creative but jovial and quick to laugh.
i always liked jousting with carl's big roomy mind.

I turned up to Friam for a change yesterday, entirely coincidentally (normally it clashes with cooking supper, which is hard to avoid when you live on a farm in the middle of nowhere, but this time I had to wait for my wife to get back from London). A large part of the meeting was dedicated to Carl, so it's a shame you both missed it.
