For you crypto nerds.

I've been attending the Security Forum for many years.  The talks are at a level I can mostly follow, something I can't say about those at cryptography day.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know about two upcoming security events at Stanford.

* The annual computer security forum:  (Monday, Apr. 15, 2024)
Come hear about the latest computer security research. The event is free and open to everyone, but we ask that you please register.  The topics discussed range from network and hardware security to disinformation and applications of cryptography.

* The bay area cryptography day:  (Friday, April 19, 2024).
This is an event for cryptographers in the bay area organized by Stanford, UC Berkeley, and NTT Research. Come hear the latest research talks from cryptographers in the bay area, mingle, and talk about all that's happening in cryptography. The event is free and open to everyone.

Both are fun events.  Looking forward to seeing everyone at one (or both) events!

Dan
