To prevent aggressive spam bots, I have configured freud-users so that new users must ask to join the group. Please allow the group managers a few days to respond to your request.

Apparently, Google does not notify group owners when members request to join. I have adjusted the settings so that anyone can join, but new members are moderated by default. Please be patient and wait for your first message to appear after joining. There may be a delay before Google notifies us that a message is pending.
