camera positions

Hai,

I am new to using fresnel. I looked through the documentation. What is the best way to choose the camera position and look_at options?I find it difficult to get the image I want by just playing around with these options. Is there a systematic way to do this?

Have you tried the interactive scene view?

Alternately, you could review some POVRay tutorials for advice. POVRay is a ray tracing tool with a scripting language and people have been using it for many decades to render scenes.
