How to display a patch on a sphere?

Dear developers and users,

I construct a patch on the surface of a sphere, define potential using hoomd.hpmc.pair.user, and run MC on Hoomd-Blue. I store the trajectory in a GSD file. Can you tell me how to display these patches using fresnel?
