If the kids of today are like this, I'm afraid what the kids of tomorrow will be. Might be better to raise kids in another country.

it's not indicative of the country as a whole, many places in the country are not like this. this kid was a victim of bullying. the takeaway is to find a good area AND raise your kid to be kind and strong. they won't be able to be bullied and will be one of the few people to be nice to those that are bullied.

that being said, people flocking to safe or good or nice or wealth neighborhoods will help to widen class disparity

Not sure how much more the social class gap can widen. The scale has been tipped over.

AMAZING books! MUST read!!

Vijesh, I must say I agree with Samir on this one. It's not about where you live but how you're raised. We often pinpoint ethnicity, minority status, wealth or location as the cause. I think a lot is nature versus nurture as well.

Lol.. I never agreed or disagreed with Samir. There are things we can change and there are things we can't change. Nature just so happens to be one of those things we can't change. So we accept and adapt. However, Nurture is objective. If we follow the 90/10 principle, we assume 10% is nature and 90% is nurture. This to me makes sense why Morality is always questioned. Hmm... that's actually interesting.

What is this 90/10 business? I've heard of and am familiar with the 80/20 rule..

Are you referring to the 80/20 rule in finance? I sent a separate email explaining the 90/10 principle that Samir sent out in the past.

Yes in finance and management and my closet. i.e. I wear about 20% of my clothing 80% of the time :)

Thanks for clarifying about the 90/10 rule
