Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Grant

Good morning,

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program is a USDA funded program for schools that participate in National School Lunch. The Illinois State Board of Education announced that the grant application for interested schools for 2015-16 will go online tomorrow, February 11th, and is due March 10, 2015. Schools must be at least 50% free or reduced lunch and schools are awarded based on funding availability. This is a great opportunity for local food procurement.
