Summer ONLINE and on campus courses in Urban/Sustainable Agriculture at Triton College starting June 8 at $108 per credit hour!

This summer at Triton College we are offering 3 ONLINE Sustainable Agriculture Technology (SAT) and Horticulture (HRT) courses running June 8-July 31 at $108 per credit hour:

 

SAT 130 Sustainable Plant Health Care – 3 credits

SAT 140 Sustainable/Organic Plants- 4 credits

HRT 275 Innovations in Sustainability- 4 credits

 

*SAT 130 is a required course for the Sustainable Agroecology certificate* 

*HRT 127 and HRT 275 are required courses for a certificate in Sustainable Landscape Practices*

 

Also 2 courses will be offered on the Triton College campus from June 8-July 31 on Monday or Tuesday for 8 weeks:

 

HRT-127-001 Entomology: Insects, People and Plants      3.0 Credits Tuesday Night – 6:00pm – 9:50pm

HRT-265-001 Vegetable and Herb Gardening                   3.0 Credits Monday 3:30pm – 6:30pm

 

Most of our students already have summer positions related to Urban Agriculture and Sustainable Landscaping even before completing their degree or certificate because of the many job opportunities from being involved in our programs.  The ONLINE and flexible schedule courses are ideal for working professionals looking to transition into these emerging careers.  Also if you are currently enrolled at a university you can take any course as a guest student.
