Job Title: DB2 Developer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 18 month+

Job Description:

Technical Required Skills:

-              BS in Computer Science or related field
-              8+ years design and development of DB2 database experience in AIX
-              5+ years of SQL-PL development experience
-              5+ years of shell scripting experience
-              Expert teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills are Required
-              Strong understanding of underlying DB2 UDB database architecture and its internals
-              Experience with IBM DB2 tools, troubleshooting, monitoring, recovery, and SQL performance tuning
-              Experience working with very large data warehouses
-              Working knowledge of operating system internals (Shell scripting, monitoring, debugging) in AIX

Preferred skills:

-              Administration of databases, data migration, data analysis, and research. QA and audit of database applications and processes
-              Data quality analysis and documentation of processes
-              Experience with Autosys scheduler and NDM
-              Informatica ETL
-              Ability to multi-task along with excellent verbal and written communication
-              Strong inter-personal, consulting, and business partner management skills
-              Experience with version control Subversion
-              Experience in finance industry is a big plus
