Managed and achieved timely tasks for QA process, testing on flex based web application, client server environment, mobile devices, client interaction, co-ordination with Developers, Managers.
The client, Verizon Wireless has a web presence of several Verizon Wireless media products, such as song downloads, ringtones, ringback tones, wallpapers, video on demand, and games. Their online mediastore application is for purchasing different media types enabled for compatibility with mobile devices for their customers.
Responsibilities:
• Requirement analysis, functional, UI testing on the Flex based application for selling ring tones, ring back tones, mp3, games, mobile apps, and other media types.
• Ran automated scripts for testing different models of Verizon smartphones devices, to test compatibility, changes due to version changes.
• Tested on client application for installers, database integrity, functional testing, regression testing, system testing, cross browser testing, debugging using browser tool Firebug, co-ordinating with developers, logging bugs on defect tracking system.
• Attended client calls to give feedback on bug status, prioritizing bugs by severity, change requests, scheduling for testing on fixes.
Environment: Flex builder, My Eclipse, Actionscript 3.0, xml, Trac, Firebug, Assembla, Quality Center, QTP for running automated scripts for mobile devices.
