Are webhooks supported in the new Freshbook API?

Web hooks are supported in the legacy API, however the legacy API's response payloads are in XML. I'd much prefer to work with JSON, which the new API supports. However the new API does not allow webhooks (at least I see no mention of the feature in the documentation for the new API).
