Freshbooks.com's API to transfer data from my own web application to freshbooks.com to create invoices, reports etc.

Hi,

   I am want to develop my own  web application. In that I can create job. After that I want use freshbooks.com to create invoices and reports management for jobs in that application.

   In that I think I have to use freshbooks.com' API to transfer data from my web application to freshbooks.com. But I am not sure about development using it. I don't know how to develop this functionality.

So please help me in developing this task using freshbooks.com's API or using any other way.If possible please provide me any tutorial or documentation or link about it. Anyone's help will be very helpful for me.

   I want to develop my own web application using Asp.Net.

   Please help me.

That sounds pretty cool. Before I can help you, I have a few questions.

1. How will FreshBooks need to integrate with your application? You mentioned invoices, but invoices need clients too. Do you need to dynamically create clients then invoice them? Some more details about your application would be amazing.
2. You mentioned ASP.Net. What language would you be using, C# or VB.Net?
3. Have you ever worked with an API before?

Hi,

(1)  I can create Client by two ways :- (1) Create client in my own web application and access it in freshbooks.com in other modules and (2) Create client in freshbooks.com and access them in my own app.

  Because I need client in both freshbooks.com 's modules and also in my app. But still not decided which way I will use.

In my application I will create job for some client and need to transfer details of tasks done for client and also client details for which task done to freshbooks.com to create invoices and reports etc. Perhaps also I will need details of invoice back in my application to store and perform operation on it.

 

(2) I am want to use language C# for development.

(3) I have never worked with API of freshbooks.com and not no much about freshbooks.com.

    But I have worked with some other API for IP camera integration.

   If I will get any example or sample code or document about integration for development of application. It will be more helpful for me.
