Besides issues #16 and #314, I have another issue with Frescobaldi and Gnome (I'm using 3.8).
I've set up gnome-shell to use the dark theme for all the applications. Frescobaldi doesn't have a dark theme?

Frescobaldi is a Qt application. You can make it act like a Gnome/Gtk+
application by selecting the Gtk theme in Frescobaldi. Maybe it then
adheres to the Gnome color scheme. Maybe a restart is required as well.

Good luck!

I've set Gtk+ in Preferences>General options>Style, closed and relaunched Frescobaldi, but nothing changes.

Hi,

Federico Bruni a écrit :
If your linux distribution does not properly integrate Gtk and KDE, or if you do not have KDE installed, you need to configure your GTK and Qt applications separately. If you are used to having a GTK+ desktop, your best bet is to select both default theme and color palette for Qt using the qtconfig executable.

Better integration is usually done in KDE, not Qt directly.

Regards,
Richard.

I don't want to install KDE just to get a dark theme on Frescobaldi.
I've tried qtconfig. I've changed the window background in Appearance>Build palette and saved. Then launched again Frescobaldi but nothing happens.
Also, when I launch again qtconfig the change I made disappeared (even if I saved it).

I'm using qt4-qtconfig
