to Frescobaldi
Hello,
Let me introduce myself, I'm a musician and composer from Austria and a Berklee College of Music Alumnus.
Recently, in the recent year, I've been happily using MuseScore and especially enjoyed their playback feature. However, now the limit has been reached and the software is becoming more and more "bloatware" with almost everything failing on me. On top of this, the MuseGroup refused to give me the sources or audio samples for the MuseSampler which is where one of the faults were discovered and which require editing.
I am incredibly unhappy with the MuseGroup, since they've also been stalking my accounts and computers with ever expanding malware.
So what I would like to do is to continue writing a significantly important releases, namely Symphony Nr. 4 and a soundtrack, with Frescobaldi and open source samples which were recorded by the composer community and edited by myself in an open source sampler.
Because Frescobaldi does not yet have the "lookahead" playback feature I would have to think of a creative way to handle keyswitches or channels with the open source sampler and Frescobaldi combined.
Because MuseScore group has hurt me financally I would like to take revenge and help support improved sound quality and samples in Frescobaldi. So this action is a serious undertaking, but the MuseGroup has ultimately frustrated me to the edge and something has to be undertaken against them.
Hopefully Frescobaldi understands my frustration, I do not mean everything would have to be free of charge but ultimately the MuseGroup has hurt not only open source but also closed source and especially the composer community.
I am downloading Frescobaldi now and hope to make all music publications including samples etc. etc. available to the community.
What the music industry is doing has to stop.
Kind regards,
Herbie (musician, composer)
