Hi,
As I wrote in the subject, the UI font in v3.2.1 is not crips enough, or on par with other programs'. It wasn't the issue with the previous versions. I've compered the menus with several other programs so that you can see it for yourself (it's a PNG but with no compression to preserve the experience. It the same for all the UI items, not just Tools Menu.
Most letters have this issue, but  it's especially visible here with "H", "D" and "M".

If anyone has successfully dealt with this before I'd be grateful if you could share.
Regards,
It.

You don't mention what system you are on.  I'm on Ubuntu 20.04 and the fonts look fine to me.

I happened to have v3.1.1 installed on Windows 7 (running in a virtual
machine under Linux). It all looks normal. After upgrading to 3.1.2 it
looks the same.

Hi!,
Sorry for the obvious omission: I'm on Windows 10.

Ah, yes, I see it now.  The fonts have been scaled up or down and they don't render well.  That's my theory.

I'm not really sure. They seem to be the same font and size as in Reaper and Archer, or any other Windows 10 application for that matter. They're kind of smudged horizontally. Where are the UI font setting in Frescobaldi? I'd try to tinker with them, if that's possible.

It's probably a Qt issue, because Frescobaldi uses the Qt Toolkit. Qt
has a tool qt-config, but I don't know if that's also available on
Windows.

I see others are hit by this as well (searching for qt font rendering
windows):
