File location for templates?

This is my first message to this group, so I would like to start by
stating just how much I appreciate Frescobaldi! It's transformed my
music engraving life.
Now the question: I have saved some templates. However, when I modify
them and then save again, I end up with two templates with the same
name.
Where are the templates saved? I would like to go an delete the old
ones.
Perhaps a future version might include a template manager, like
LibreOffice?

You should use Tools>Snippets, select the template and click on the Edit
button. I'm sure that you won't get a duplicate.
I'm assuming that you are using Frescobaldi 2

The templates are just snippets. When you choose File->New from
template, there is also an option "Manage templates" (if not: you have
an older 2.0 version. in that case Ctrl+T to open the snippet manager,
and enter :template in the search box, including the colon). Then you
can delete or edit templates.

Thank you both! Job done (I do have an older version -- I update from
Ubuntu repositories).
