Bug Lilypond/Frescobaldi

[Ritske Tjallingii]

Hello,

 

When I am editing a .ly file in Frescobaldi and there are special ASCII characters (like é or â, etc.) in the filename or directory name than Frescobaldi loses its “Point & Click” functionality. There is no link anymore between the editor window and the score window.

Can you fix this in either Lilypond or Frescobaldi?

Please tell which operating system, Frescobaldi version and LilyPond
version you are using.
This is the first information required for any bug report.

You are using a very old version of LilyPond. Try upgrading to the latest stable release and let us know if it solves your problem.

I'm using:

- Window 10 Education 64-bits

- Frescobaldi 4.0.3

-  Lilypond-windows.exe 2.18.2

Glad to know that your problem is solved!

You should have learned three lessons:

1. Install the latest stable version before reporting a bug, as it
might have been fixed already.
2. If the bug can be reproduced in the latest stable version, provide
all the version information.
3. Don't reply to single persons, but always include the mailing list.
