Hello, thank you for Frescobaldi 3.2 on Ubuntu 22.04.3

MIDI file works fine with Timidity on terminal (even lyrics). And others applications.

But, the internal MIDI player works without sound. Time and Beat work fine!

My player output is: Midi Through Port-0
as mentioned here:

jrd_10@my-pc:~$ aplaymidi -l
 Port    Client name                      Port name
14:0    Midi Through                     Midi Through Port-0
jrd_10@my-pc:~$

Thank you in advance for a feedback.

José

I'm on the same kind of system as you.  I don't know if it's an option, but I use FluidSynth without a problem. My player output in Frescobaldi is FluidSynth.

This is just a guess, but have you tried putting aplaymidi in the Frescobaldi output player field or timidity?

Did you set this port name on Frescobaldi preferences? (it's not
automatic as in other applications)
