EL COMEPROG LLAMA A LOS MÉDICOS A LAS CALLES ESTE 7 DE DICIEMBRE
El Juez vigésimo de Garantías Penales Dr. Jorge Moreno, ha citado para el próximo 7 de diciembre a las 8H30 a.m. al Ministro de Salud Pública Dr. Guido Chiriboga, a la Subsecretaria de Salud, Dra. Ximena Abarca, al Director Provincial de Salud Dr. Yuri Patiño y a la Directora del Hospital Guayaquil, Dra. Maritza Barros, para tratar la Audiencia de Acción de Protección, impuesta por un grupo de médicos que fueron cesados en sus funciones.
Por tal motivo, el Colegio Médico Provincial del Guayas COMEPROG, invita a todos los colegas médicos, estudiantes de medicina y ciudadanía en general a la convocatoria pública de la Audiencia de Acción de Protección en la Corte Provincial de Justicia, para defender los derechos de los médicos ecuatorianos.
El Dr. Moreno, señala que se ha probado la inminencia del daño, en contra de los médicos que fueron cesados en sus funciones, el 4 de noviembre del año en curso, luego que se aplicara el Art. 81 de la Ley Orgánica de Servicio Publico LOSEP.
Es injusto que un Gobierno que profesa la inclusión y el derecho de los ecuatorianos se contradiga, poniendo en vigencia dicha Ley, que excluye al medico experimentado de sus puestos de trabajo y viola los artículos: art. 11 numeral 2 Y el art. 37 numeral 2 de la Constitución Política del Estado.
Nuestros maestros médicos hoy convertidos en adultos mayores merecen el respeto por el trabajo realizado en beneficio de la salud de todos los ecuatorianos. Así lo manifestó el vicepresidente del COMEPROG Dr. Luis Serrano Figueroa
