I emailed the town earlier. I pasted the responses below. My husband also called town hall and told that the center line is supposed to be yellow and that they will be back tomorrow to correct that. He was also provided with the phone number of the foreman who hired the contractor to voice his complaints. The foreman was rude and unprofessional. He told my husband that the sloppy job is it is not his concern, that he was off the clock at 4pm and he would have to call my husband back at 7am tomorrow and hung up on him.Ms. Harroll,
Yes, they are traffic calming ‘devices’. We have had several complaints about speeding traffic on Rustic Court [as well as other places in town], so we are taking another step to address those concerns.

Is there a reason that the town is painting these lines? I have never seen lines like this on a cul-de-sac.

The town did hire a contractor to paint the lines. However, the Department of Public Works is already aware of the condition of the work at Rustic Court and should be onsite meeting with the contractor to rectify the situation.

Subject: Line PaintingHello all. I am a Perryville resident and I live on Rustic Court. My husband just sent me the picture that is attached to this email and told me that he watched a man hand paint this line down the center of the street with a roller. The line only goes down the center of the straight part of the street and does not go around the circle at the end of the street. Please tell me that this is some sort of vandalism and that the town did not do this?
