I have missed the last several HOA meetings due schedule conflicts and it came to a point that there was nothing being done but a bunch of lip service at these meetings between the HOA board and the management company.
Reading the letter from a fellow neighbor about not being able to sell their home disgust me. I was at a meeting or two where non-payment of HOA dues was a topic of discussion and it was the position of the management company that it would be costly to go after these home owners who fail to keep current with their HOA dues.
The parking lot lines was also a topic at several meetings as well as the curb painted addresses. These items have yet to be addressed. WOW, our community looks great with only one section of parking lines painted and a few addresses painted on the curbs. NOT!
So, what DOES out HOA BOARD OF DIRECTORS DO and what DOES our MANAGEMENT COMPANY DO?
I will make every effort to legally identify these persons who are not paying their HOA dues and expose them to community members. I will start by asking the HOA BOARD and MANAGEMENT COMPANY which residents are not current.
If you you are saying I am angry, YES I am. One, I have paid my obligation on time and we can't seem to get our HOA BOARD and MANAGEMENT COMPANY to act in our best interest. With that said, that is NOT a reason for home owners to stop paying their HOA dues.
