Hello everyone,

Several residents in our neighborhood have have seen rats coming out of drains in the common area. They also found droppings on their driveways and porches. When they called the town office, they were told that our HOA is responsible for any pest control needed on the common area. A workman did come out to look around the neighborhood to see the extent of the problem. He felt that there is alot of signs that we have a problem that is not isolated to a few houses. I notified MRA of the problem. I asked for 2 estimates from pest control companies and their solution to the problem. I hope to get a speedy response.

Meanwhile there are alot of precautions that we all must take to help alleviate this problem.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD SOURCE OUTSIDE AROUND YOUR HOUSE.
THIS INCLUDES PET BOWLS
'' " BIRD FEEDERS
" " DOG FECES

Make sure any outside vents do not have gaps where mice and rats can enter.

TRASH CANS MUST BE KEPT IN YOUR GARAGE.

Let's all pitch in to keep our neighborhood clean and safe.
