We are considering a move to the South Bay, and have noticed little online presence from the French American School of the Sillicon Valley (Sunnyvale). Wondering if anyone has any experience about this school, and if they would care to share...

I have a two-year-old who might enroll for pre-K in the program (*if* we move) and a Kindergartener (public school in SF) who is taking after school French through the EFBA (likely not enough to be a candidate for 1st grade). Still, I would welcome any information on FASSV. I am supposed to respond to a job offer early next week, and this would be one of the factors we would take into account.

Thank you for any input!

Hi Ioana,

I don't know anything about the school but if your kindergartener is fluent in French he will be able to enter in french 1st grade. You should ask the school they will evaluate him. That's what I did with my son for le Lycee. He has been accepted in 1st grade but I changed my mind and let him continue in public school. Now I work with him in French using the CNED program. You have and other solution: public school + http://www.pafea.org/ (in Palo Alto twice a week)

I hope you more helpful answers
Cheers,
Agathe
