Hi everyone!
I'm excited to announce that the Silicon Valley Kiwanis Club (our sponsoring Kiwanis Club) is offering a scholarship for graduating seniors! Here are some details about the scholarship:
WHAT: The Kiwanis Club of Silicon Valley Foundation will award $300 to a 12th grade member of Fremont Key Club. Members must be graduating and plan to attend college after high school. The selection criteria is based off of Key Club involvement, commitment to public service, and involvement in school and community activities. The scholarship decision will be made during the week of May 15 and the recipient will receive the scholarship at a special Kiwanis meeting.
HOW TO APPLY: Fill out this application packet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/107ZKe9EuM-gNJWS20ypZ1KvvY7w1vtBS/view?usp=sharing. This includes a personal statement, a teacher/counselor recommendation letter, and copy of your transcript. (Unofficial transcripts are accepted!) Then, email your application packet to Jim Davis (Silicon Valley Kiwanis Club President) at game...@att.net by FRIDAY, MAY 12.
