Fremont Neighborhood Council Annual Meeting, Signal at 1st NW and NW 36th?

Interim Director of SDOT Goran Sparrman will be attending the FNC annual meeting on Monday, April 23, Doric Temple, 619 N. 36th at 7 p.m.

At the March FNC meeting representatives from SPU discussed the possibility of a signal at 1st Ave NW and NW 35th St as a temporary measure due to construction site work on the Canal storm water tunnel and/or the new water line replacement under the Canal. I and others in Fremont think such a signal should be a permanent fixture.

If you are supportive of a permanent signal at that location, please let me know and help spread the word. If you have time to do more, please contact me. I think it would be great if we turned out many supporters.

Also, if you have other bike, ped, other trans issues in Fremont you'd like to raise with Mr. Sparrman, I will let him know before hand if you want him to be prepared to respond.
