On November 19th we organized Seattle's recognition of World Day of Remembrance for road traffic victims. Since the same time last year, 19 people died in collisions on the streets of Seattle. Our volunteers installed white silhouettes at these nineteen locations.
During the World Day of Remembrance we remember the precious lives our communities have lost, recommit ourselves to the importance of Vision Zero, and remind ourselves of the urgency of this work. We can, and we must get to zero.
Thank you for all that you do to make our streets safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all.
