Hey local greenway group folks,
I know you’re busy, but if you haven't already could you take a few minutes (5-7) to fill out a quick survey to help shape our work over the next four years? You’ll also have a chance to sign up for our e-newsletter. The local groups will still be setting annual local priorities each year, but this will help shape some of our larger themes and focus areas.
Here’s the scoop. You may have heard that we’ve had some key transitions at Seattle Neighborhood Greenways. The amazing Cathy Tuttle, founding director of SNG, has retired — to travel, to research safe streets solutions in other cities, and to provide guidance and leadership as a member of SNG’s new Board of Directors. And I’ve stepped up from my role as Policy Director to take her place. I couldn’t be more excited. We’ve also added to our staff: Susan Gleason as our Communications & Development Director, and Fan Kong, as our new Community Organizer.
Now, after six years of winning improvements for neighborhoods across the city, our grassroots based organization is looking to create even more impact.
We’re in the midst of a strategic planning process and we’re eager to hear from you -- volunteers, advocates, collaborators, and donors. You’re the folks who make SNG as effective as it is in advocating for a more walkable, bikeable, livable, and equitable city.
If you have 5 minutes, please share your thoughts and ideas for SNG’s direction over the next four years.
Thank you for all that you do, and thanks for taking time today to share your thoughts,
Gordon Padelford
Executive Director
Seattle Neighborhood Greenways
