Alarm clock is a small program that sits in your system tray of the windows desktop. Includes 5 different chimes and a customized chime button for selecting your favorite custom chimes. It also features a popup message box to inform you of somes information on alarm time and an auto shutdown feature which you can use to log off, shutdown or make the computer standby at a set time.

Cartouche Maker v1.0 - 1736 KB
Cartouche Maker is a program designed for use in the windows environment and is compatible with windows 95,98, 98SE, ME, NT and XP. Cartouche Maker was developed using Visual Basic 6 and therefore needs the VB run time to work. All graphics were created using Ulead's Photo Impact 6. This help file was created using Help Scribble.
I have always had an interest in Egyptology and Cartouche Maker is just an expression of that interest. It just seemed a neat idea. A little bit of searching found some online cartouche creators but they were all very bland and boring so Cartouche Maker was created.
There is no real way to have our western alphabet translated into hieroglyphs on a letter by letter basis. The Egyptians did not spell words like we do, they spelt them phonetically.
So take Cartouche Maker as it is intended to be , just as a bit of harmless fun and not a serious translation program.

CR-ISP is specifically designed for those people like myself who used to have a time limit on their Internet connection. Such ISP's are normally Free or cheaper than most, but to stop us abusing the system they restrict how long you can stay online before you have to reconnect.This is a minor irritation but it can cause serious aggravation if you are in the middle of a download or similar. I could not recommend highly enough such programs like Gozilla or Get Right that will help you resume broken downloads.

Unfortunately I kept finding myself printing lists in programs like Word or Publisher. These lists were for friends and family who needed a list of all thier Medication and illnesses, they were often changing the details and needing more copies.
Every time my father went into casualty they asked for a list of pills, so I would have to print out another one for the next time.
Thus the idea of Medi-Bank was formed. I thought about a wizard for Word or similar, but as I was relatively new to the PC I thought I would try my hand at programming. I chose Delphi as my tool and the rest as they say is history.
Medi-Bank keeps all your Medical details in one easy to edit and updateable interface. Who you are, Where you live, Next of kin, Doctors, Specialists, Medication, Allergies, Medical History and Donor Details. When entering Medical History and Medication there is a special Helpful Word feature to save you trying to spell those long Medical names. You can have as many files as you wish and the printouts can be saved so they can be printed later when more copies are needed.
Installing Medi-Bank is very simple you just unzip the archive and run the SetUp program. At the end of this procedure you can have the option of launching Medi-Bank, If you do this a default file will automatically be loaded this file offers a few hints on what to enter where.

With this program, you can have your own logo and text appear on the system properties window. It is easy to use and you can save files to be used on several systems if you wish.
With OEM Logo Manager V1.0 you can choose from a whole range of pre supplied bitmap images or search your system for your own. On start up the program will add all bitmaps in the samples folder to the drop down samples box to make access to often used bitmaps easy. The program comes with plenty to choose from but if you put your own into the samples folder within the program directory they will be available to you in the samples combo box during use. If you try to use a file that is too large, you will be notified.
You can edit the text that appears and have up to ten further lines in the support information window. The manufacturer field holds the name of the computer. This can be anything you want up to 25 characters. The same goes for the model field. This also holds up to 25 characters. Lines 1 - 10 all appear after you have clicked on support information. These will give you 10 lines of 40 characters. The choice is yours what you use these fields for.
Windows only allows Bitmaps to be used for the logo. Although I could of let this program convert the image for you, I felt that as the size was also restrictive you are better off using an image editor.
Therefore, you need a Bitmap image that is no larger than 180 pixels wide and 114 pixels high.
Once again resizing an image to this size is better achieved through an image editor. You can use 24 bit bitmaps if you wish.
Too make a transparent bitmap you must make sure that the bitmap has been converted to Indexed 256 colour. 24bit Bitmaps will not make a transparent image. Make sure that pixel (0,0) in the top left most part of the picture has the colour you want to be transparent.
If you have a background colour that you do not want to be transparent put another colour at pixel (0,0), preferably 1 that doesn't appear in the rest of the image. Some image editors allow you to add a colour to the palette if needed.
In some cases setting colour 0 in the colour index also can help.
