The freeware program CONVERT from KilletSoft converts data files to other data formats and character sets. For the import in MySQL or SQL databases the 'CREATE TABLE' script can be generated. Thus the import of the data in any data base management system or file system will be possible.
Convertions between this data formats are possible:
1. CSV (Comma Separated Value)
2. SDF (Simple Document Format)
3. dBase (Borlands data base format)
Convertions between this character sets are possible:
1. ANSI (American National Standards Institute) [single byte WINDOWS standard]
2. ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) [single byte character set]
3. UTF8 (Unicode Transformation Format) [multi byte character set]
4. Unicode (Universal Character Set) [double byte character set]
A special feature of the program is the possibility to process CSV and SDF files that are larger then 4,6 gigabytes.
All data can be selected and sorted on the contained data fields. By the use of suitable criteria data records may be selected. Data from several dBase files can be joined to a common file.

UnShake v1.5 - 1015 KB
Unshake 1.5 is a Java-2 and C program which improves blurred and shaken photographs by working out the form of the blurring, then deducing what the picture would have looked like if it had not been blurred. Because it is written in Java, once you have installed Sun's Java 2 all you have to do is to unzip one file to install Unshake on your computer. (The Java Runtime Environment is about 8 MBytes, but growing - if you are prepared to work in the English of the USA and use earlier code, the USA version 1.3 of the JRE is only about 5 MB.)
Also included in this distribution is a library and command-line filter for Linux, UnshakeC1.5r1.
Unshake is offered free for personal use.

Unstoppable Copier v5.2 - 417 KB
This program is great for recovering files from scratched CD's or defective floppy/hard disks.  Normally when your computer is unable to copy a file from a damaged disk it will abort and delete the portition of  the file it has copied.   This program however will continue to copy the file right to the end.  Any data that is not recoverable after many retries is replaced with blanks.  This will allow you to truely recover every byte of information that is available for recovery.   The program allows you to specify a single file, a group using wildcards (* and ?) or if you wish, select a starting folder and the program will copy all data from it and any sub folders it may contain.  This program doesnt just need to be used for copying files form defective disks, it can be used to transfer any files!

Sérült optikai adathordozókról képes adatokat visszanyerni az Unstoppable Copier. Ezt úgy éri el, hogy – nevének megfelelöen – nem áll meg, ha hibás területet talál, hanem folytatja a másolást. Az így lemásolt fájl lehet, hogy nem lesz hibátlan, de sokfajta audio- és videoállomány kisebb-nagyobb akadozással így is lejátszható.
