Hi everyone!
Well, we didn't get anyone elected we wanted to get elected on the
BOT, but that's ok. We are going to try other avenues such as letters
to the editor and maybe even a petition on campus to replaced the
prayers at school events with moments of silence.
Also, to be discussed at our next regular meeting:
We will discuss the misconception that science can ruin the magic of
childhood. Richard Dawkins plans on writing a children's book in his
retirement, refuting myths and encouraging children to look at the
evidence. Take a look at this interview:

A few other things to chew on before the meeting, J.R.R. Tolken told
his friend, C.S. Lewis when asking about writing fantasy for children,
that he wrote fantasy books to help children better accept the myths
of the bible. While Philip Pullman writes his fantasy books with
specific anti-religious themes.
Do you think fantasy discourages critical thinking?
Do you think science hinders the imagination?
Questions to ponder.
We are very excited to get everyone together and get going. We still
need a Secretary and Treasurer so hopefully some of you would like to
take on one of those roles. We can't wait to see you all on Monday!!!
As usual our meeting will be held:
