Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, will
be in the Los Angeles area from Feb 16 - 22, and he's like to visit a
few campus groups while he's there. Would the Free-Thinkers Club at
Saddleback College be interested in hosting Dan for a presentation (or
a debate, if you can round up an opponent?)
Due to the arrangement between FFRF and the Secular Student Alliance,
we are able to bring Dan at no cost to your university. Travel and
lodging will be covered, meaning that the only costs you would have to
cover would be those for publicity for the event.
Let me know if you're interested, and if there's a particular date in
there that would work better (or be bad) for your college. I'm just
starting to set things up, so I can still fit your group in if you're
interested!
Cheers!
Lyz
