Please join us for a benefit for Sarah, Shane, and Josh featuring a
screening of "Songs to Enemies and Deserts", a film by David Martinez
and Shane Bauer. The film is about rebels and villagers living side-by-
side in North Darfur.
At 8:00 p.m. we will start with an update of Sarah, Shane and Josh's
situation at the moment, answer any questions, and then start the film
promptly at 8:30. It's only 35 minutes long, so please be on time if
you want to see it. We'll end with a brief survey of what's happening
in Darfur and Sudan presently, taking into account the recent signing
of a peace treaty between the Sudanese government and one of the rebel
groups (Justice And Equality Movement or JEM), and the upcoming
referendum on independence in South Sudan.
