I like to buy a kindle ebook reader to read Tamil ebooks.

reading pdf file is tough as we have zoom and navigate left and right to read a single line.

reading native mobi format is great.
converted some Tamil pdf files into mobi format using calibra.

but the unicode Tamil fonts are not displayed properly.

is there any fix for this?

Dear Shrini,
I too face the same problem with my All new Kindle paper white. To partially overcome from the problem, I am creating my own books in PDF with the following settings: Height 12 CM X width 9 CM, Font size 10, Margins 0.2 CM. This works fine for me. Even non Unicode Tamil fonts works fine.

Your ebooks for kindle needs to have fonts included along with the book
I have created a ebook for kindle and it is on sale in the kindle book store
If you type suganthivenkatesh in kindle store you can preview the book
