Greetings. Aside from the new version of FileMaker Pro, is there any easy to
learn relational database programs that is cheap. Cheap as in under $300?

If you're using Mac OSX, then you can install the SQL system. There are
a lot of implementations around, some come in ready made packages
complete with graphical interfaces.
Have a look at www.versiontracker.com and do a search on SQL.
