...tonight I had some 12 disconnections (8 in the last 30 minutes), it
really was worthwhile switching from unlimited.

DNS is also on the blink, web throughput is sporadic at best and the
newserver is completely f.u.b.a.r. (and has been all night).

I must congratulate you on taking me for a sucker with this "service" as
you call it, you really fooled me into thinking the service may be ok.

I only ever had 2 disconnections on Unlimited in the months I used it
since joining this p*ss-poor service I've had atleast 4 a day.

Thanks heaven I'm only paying £4.99 for this month unless of course you
multiple bill me for the Unlimited service like you usually do.

It really is crap, isn't it? I've noticed my connection slows down,
then stops after about 5 minutes. Checking the logs shows about 3,000
errors per minute.

Funny how this doesn't happen with LineOne or FSPAYG.

Er, "f.u.b.a.r."?? Not come across this before, sounds like a potentially
useful expression - could you please translate? (With use of strategically
placed asterisks!)

Miss Fox, working for a company who make Freeserve seem wonderful and

Rather an old expression (certainly current during the Vietnam - er -
'Police action'; possibly much older).

Fu*#ed Up Beyond All Recognition

(Or quoted as 'Fouled up ...' in polite circles.)

Make that at least as far back as WWII (US military).

From "saving private ryan" but no doubt it also appeared in earlier films
such as "catch 22" - ignoring films, no idea when/where it came from

WWII. And its usually quoted as 'repair' not 'recognition'. At least, older
sources quote 'repair'. As in, can you fix this? No, its fubar.
