Hair highlights

Has anyone tried those home highlight kits, the Honey and Blonde? Cost`s a
fortune to have it done at the hairdressers so i thought i might get one and
get someone to do it for me.

Eliza, I did years ago, my mum and sister did it, it was a disaster, I think
it was because of all the other colours I had in. It went a weird greenish
colour. I think it does depend on what treatments you have in your hair at
the moment, as to how it will turn out.
Anyways good luck with it. Post a pic and let me see if it turns green for a
giggle, Fingers crossed it won't, all depends on your hair type I suppose. I
dye my mum's and it always turns out lovely, even if I do say so myself
LOL:)

Ooheerrr missus! Be very careful. Green usually results from a lack of red
pigment, when using bleach.
Plus, to get them looking good, you have to get as near the root as poss,
(unless you do 'deliberate' tips), and don't let it run over the adjacent
roots, ends up looking like you spilt something on your head!

Can't someone 'treat' you, after all it *is* chrimbo, to a proper job? :-)

It was a shock it cost thirty quid at the time to get it stripped out. Yes I
think there was Bleach in it.
£fifty quid for a home done job? That is expensive, I couldn't pay that. I
suppose then the hair dressers would cost a arm and a leg? Good luck with it

Ps....... Medsun is about £500 quid a time...........But that does buy you
two weeks Holiday peak season out in Cyprus and the Mediterranean sun
(MedSun) does naturally highlight your hair..!!
