Hello

it seems that the installation was successful:

C:\Users\Andrei>pip install freeseer
Collecting freeseer
  Downloading freeseer-3.0.1.tar.gz (166kB)
    100% |################################| 167kB 2.6MB/s
Installing collected packages: freeseer
  Running setup.py install for freeseer
Successfully installed freeseer-3.0.1

Question: how do I start it (the GUI) ?

Sorry for an apparently silly question.

Thank you, Regards
Andrei

Hi Andrei,

You should be able to start freeseer by simply typing "freeseer" in the commandline. It should open up the app.

Documentation for Freeseer is available on readthedocs here:

If you are able to though I would highly recommend using Linux instead of Windows for Freeseer. Support for the Linux version is quite a bit better, we've always had issues with Windows deployments due to the complexity of getting our 3rdparty dependencies installed on Windows, specifically GStreamer and Qt installations have always been a struggle for us.

Hope this helps,
Thanh
