I have a few questions regarding the graphics. 

1. Could someone give a detailed explanation on how to render the graphics files with Blender? I tried using the "render animation" button, and that seems to generate the images, but in strange sizes. Do I have to change the render size for each quality, 64px, 128px, and 256px?

2. I read that this project was being migrated from 8bpp to 32bpp sprites. Is this change still happening? If so, where is the option to run the game with 32bpp graphics?

Edit: In addition, I noticed that the imagej script was written for windows, what with the use of "\" instead of "/" for file paths. I was able to get it to work by changing each instance of "\\" to "/" in the code. Is there an alternative way of processing images on Linux, or should there be a second version of the .ijm file for Linux?

Hi,

Missed you completely :(

Migration is somewhat the right word, but not in your meaning of migration.

The game accepts both 32bpp and 8bpp sprites, and renders everything in 32bpp.
As such there is no switch, you just provide the graphics as you have them. Both formats have different ways of expressing recolouring though, which may cause some issues.

As for blender, can't help you with that :(


Otherwise, the project is very much on hold currently. Not sure if or when it comes back to life currently.
