Hi there,
the program compiled fine, but when I want to start it it says: "Failed to initialize window or the font, aborting". The font is definitely at the right destination. Can someone help me?

Okay, I think it had something to do with the fact, that my virtual machine had no full 2d support. I compiled it again on a "native" machine and it works fine!

I wanted to write here:
Nice that you have it working.
I just fixed that error message, it should now provide more detailed information about what is wrong, for as far as SDL/TTF it provides, of course.
