Hi
The template plugin is still not mature enough to be included in the next release.
I've coded an easy 'work-around': a simple button with as menu the content of a part of your file system. When you click this button, it will add the content of the selected file into a texteditor.
You can navigate through your local files in just one click !
This is not visible in the shot, but when the file is inserted, all tokens are replaced allowing you to use real templates from HTML, TXT, RTF files.
