I've run into a problem installing FreeMED on my hosted web domain.
Apparently since I am using a browser on a different computer than the
hosting service's web server, the setup page will not work. The
computer I am using is on a local network and I am not sure how to
rename the local host in /lib/settings.php.

Change INIT_ADDR in lib/settings.php to be your external IP address
and you should be able to go through the setup routine.

Thanks!! I tried that but still got the warning about the local host
setting. Here are the settings I have changed in lib/settings.php.
Can you make any other suggestions.

See:

That isn't a valid IP address. Check the apache2 logs in
/var/log/apache2/access_log to see what your actual IP address is,
then it'll work fine.

Thanks! I did get FreeMED installed. I had to get the correct IP
address from my ISP.

I just want to confirm that I installed FreeMED from this download:
freemed-0.8.4.tar

Is that all I need other than the REMITT application?

Thanks!!
