Thank you for your interest in FreeMED.
We would be very grateful for your help with translation.
As you may know, the present functional version of FreeMED has been translated into the Spanish of Spain, Mexico and Chile. Have you seen these translations?
They can be viewed at
http://demo.freemedsoftware.orgRead the "Information regarding this site". Then choose your language and log in.
If you are interested in helping us with the development version of FreeMED, this can be done quite easily. We are interested in assisting you since the context of medical phrases may not be be apparent unless they are explained.
Go to
http://translate.freemedsoftware.org.
Register for an account.
Log in
Click on "All Projects"
Then click on "FreeMED version 0.9 (Development Version)" if you want
to translate the latest version which has not yet been completed. (It would be very helpful to have the Spanish translation available when the new version is released).
Then click on Spanish.
Click on template.po
Go the first phrase that has not been translated.
Click on the corresponding line directly below the word "
Translation".
This should make the word "Edit" appear to the right of the line.
Click on "Edit" and then translate the phrase.
Translate all the phrases in the same manner.

Write us if you need explanations of the phrases which are not explained in the site mentioned above. Also notify us if some aspect of this process does not seem to work properly.
