Hello,

Are there plans to make a Linux binary for FreeMat 4.0 other than the
Fedora RPM? I have Ubuntu and the Ubuntu repository only has FreeMat
3.6. I managed to compile FreeMat 4 but the help doesn't work (says
that modules.txt and sectable.txt are missing). It would be better if
there was a .tar.gz release for Linux so that non-RPM users can get
FreeMat 4.

Cheers,
Daniel.

Daniel,

Did you get any compiler errors when you compiled? Did you use the 4.0.1 tarball or an svn build? My documentation works fine on my compiled copy, Ubuntu Karmic 64-bit.
