Free Hetherington - program for our final 2 days :'(

Tonight, we have the ONLY performance of our very own occupation play
"The Small Society" written and performed by occupiers. 7:30pm.
Themes explored include the issues raised by the recent riots in
England, and the government and police response, as viewed through the
prism of a symbolic, dysfunctional "family"...
At 9pm we have the last ever Hetherington Monday night pub quiz - an
institution we inherited from the post graduate / research club.
And then the decks will be started up for last ever PARTY!
Tuesday 30th - Cleanup. Collective meal.
Come from 10am for the final clearup/clearout. Please please come
along even if you can just spare an hour. We need people to carry
stuff, clean etc. Or bring us sandwiches/cakes! :)
8pm The Last Supper. Vegan meal. Come along, lets eat together for
one last time, reminisce. If you can, please bring some food to share
(clearly marked if its not vegan).
Wednesday 31st - The Exodus
11am Occupied by the back-door: de-occupied by the front door. Seven
months. Thirty weeks. Two hundred and twelve days. Five thousand and
eighty-eight hours.... of (almost) full-time, twenty-four occupation
of the Hetherington Research Club. The plan is to stage a series of
songs, speeches, poems, testimonies from the platform of the porch.
Some music. Some tears. Some jokes. We will then formally and finally
close the door for one last time at 12 noon.... Who gets to close the
door, of course, is a very special privilege: the person will be
selected by a raffle. *tears*
